***Grant applicants must be tax-exempt organizations which are not private foundations and must be located in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. The proposed project/program must have a direct benefit to the inhabitants of Barnstable County, Massachusetts. If the tax-exempt organization is located outside of Barnstable County, Massachusetts, but the proposed project/program will have a direct and substantial benefit to the inhabitants of Barnstable County, Massachusetts, the grant application may be eligible for funding.*** The Executive Committee meets once or twice each quarter to interview grant applicants and the Board of Directors meets quarterly to act on Executive Committee recommendations. Board action is required on Executive Committee grant recommendations exceeding $2,500.00.
